Due to supply chain disruptions caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), OpenEye is implementing hardware revisions to select recorders in order to maintain product availability.
The changes being implemented will take effect immediately and will not have a material impact on performance.
The hardware being used for these revisions is already in widespread use by other systems sold by OpenEye and system images are already compatible with the updated hardware. All hardware used in OpenEye systems is qualified and approved by our engineering team through a comprehensive testing process.
Models receiving revisions:
- OE-MK (updated to Rev C)
- OE-MH (updated to Rev D)
- OE-MM RAID (updated to Rev C)
All systems will have the following observable differences from the prior revision:

The hardware revision of the system is noted on the serial number sticker on the side of the unit.
