Microsoft Ending Windows 7 Support in 2020

Do you have an OpenEye recorder or workstation running Windows 7? Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 in 2020 and will no longer release security updates.

Cybersecurity best practices recommend that users upgrade software before its End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Support (EOS). Failure to do so can result in software becoming prone to future security vulnerabilities.

OpenEye offers Windows 10 upgrade packages to assist in the transition from Windows 7. If you are still running Windows 7, an upgrade option specific to your recorder model is available.

Contact your local solution provider or OpenEye's service line to learn more about your Windows 10 upgrade options.
