OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud-managed video surveillance solutions, has announced the addition of the OE-MT to its M-Series line of network video recorders. The OE-MT recorder is a powerful yet compact network video server capable of supporting up to 32 channels of IP video in its stock configuration. Featuring a dedicated solid-state OS drive for added performance and reliability, the OE-MT supports up to 64 Terabytes of storage and can be upgraded to record up to 96 channels of IP video. The OE-MT recorder will be available to ship in November.
The low decibel operating levels of the OE-MT and its compact footprint make it suitable for installation in office environments, but it also includes rack ears for mounting in IT racks or enclosures. For users who demand maximum performance or want to expand their recording capabilities up to 96 channels, the OE-MT offers performance upgrade options and adaptive thermal management for maximum scalability. The recorder has a four drive storage capacity that supports up to 64TB of video storage and the standard solid-state OS drive improves restart time and provides continued operation and error reporting in the event of a storage drive failure.
For ease of integration, the OE-MT includes sensor relay connections for hard wiring to alarm panels or other integrated devices as well as dedicated client and camera network ports for improved security and network performance.
The OE-MT Series recorder runs OpenEye Web Services cloud-managed video surveillance software which offers complete remote operation and administration, single sign-on, online user management and cloud-based health monitoring with real-time alerts. Network setup using OpenEye's Web Connect technology eliminates the need for port forwarding or entering IP settings for remote clients, greatly simplifying initial installation and ongoing maintenance.
This recorder is NDAA compliant and designed for users who are looking for performance, flexibility and long-term scalability with the ability to add additional cameras as well as upgrade options for Microsoft Windows OS and performance packages.
