Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is Microsoft’s cloud-based identity and access management service, which helps employees sign in and access resources in external resources, such as Microsoft 365, the Azure portal, and thousands of other SaaS applications as well as internal resources, such as apps on a corporate network and intranet, along with any cloud apps developed by the organization.
OpenEye Web Services -> Azure ADThis integration enables users to log in to OpenEye Web Services (OWS) using their Azure AD credentials.
NOTE: This integration is only available with certain licensing tiers. See OWS Licensing OWS Licensing for more information.
What you get- Single sign-on for users with their existing Azure AD credentials
- Access user management from the Azure AD portal
- Use automatic user provisioning via SCIM 2.0
- Azure credentials work to log in to OWS using a web browser, Command Station, and the OpenEye Mobile app
Security
OpenEye Web Services uses the SAML protocol to allow your employees to log in to OWS with their existing single sign-on credentials.
Control Over User Provisioning
Set up users, permissions and manage access to cameras and recorders in OWS from your user management portal and take advantage of automatic user provisioning via SCIM 2.0 No need to leave and go to a separate website.
Easy Onboarding
Identity management offers control over the process of authorizing system or network permissions for new and existing users and the offboarding of users who are no longer authorized to access organization systems.
The goal of identity management is to ensure that only authenticated users are granted access to the applications, systems or IT environments for which they are authorized. Don’t leave out your video surveillance system. Ensuring that the same user access policies and rules are applied consistently across your organization, including your video surveillance systems, adds an additional layer of protection. With Azure AD identity management integrated with OpenEye Web Services, we are able to provide a secure single sign-on solution that allows user management and user group provisioning from the Azure AD interface.
