Enabling Mobile App Notifications over OWS

After an alert rule is created on OWS, to receive notification from the OpenEye Mobile app the user will just need to have Push Notifications enabled in their user settings and in the appropriate alert rule.

First, ensure the user has notifications enabled for their account. You will access this setting by entering User Management.

The click 'Edit' by the user we're setting up Mobile Notifications for.

Once in the user settings, select 'Notifications' and ensure they have  Email and Push Alert Notifications checked.

From here, navigate to and edit the Alert Rule this user will be receiving mobile notifications for. In the Alert Rule settings, select  Users/Notifications and check the box under 'Push Notifications' next to their name. If their name is not in the list of users, add them with the  Add User button.

They should then begin receiving alert notifications through OpenEye Mobile as long as they're logged in using their OWS Account.

Note: If this is set up and the notifications are enabled on their account but they are not receiving mobile alerts, their device may not be allowing notifications from OpenEye Mobile. This can be changed in the device's notification settings.
