If the Low Disk Space notification should ever pop up, you can disable it by following these steps.

You can only disable these low disk space messages by changing a setting in the Windows Registry. This is a system-wide change, so Windows won’t warn you about low disk space on any of your drives after you change it.

(Warning : The Registry Editor is a powerful tool and misusing it can render your system unstable or even inoperable. So proceed with caution and preciseness. )

  1. Type run in the search field in of windows :

2. You then type regedit to get to the registry editor - in Windows 10 you can just type registry editor, in the search,  to get to the registry editor app.

Start > Run > Regedit > OK

3. Now navigate to the following location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

4. Right-Click on the blank area of the right pane of the registry editor and create a new DWORD Value by selecting New > DWORD Value.

5. Name this newly created DWORD Value -"NoLowDiskSpaceChecks"

6. Now double-click on the new DWORD and assign it the value 1.

7. Close the registry editor and restart the system.
