Password character and length restrictions

Apex Server

• Password must be 1-255 characters.
• You can use upper case or lower case letters
• You can use digits 0-9
• You can use the special characters !@#$%^&

*Note: if running image version 2.2.1 using a # or a ! in the admin password may cause issues.

Openeye Server 5.1.0.8107

• Password must be between 1 and 31 characters (It will allow you to set a longer password and you will be able to login successfully but you will have permissions issues, i.e when you click setup the setup window opens but shows invalid password error)
• You can use upper case or lower case letters
• You can use digits 0-9
• You can use any of the special characters on a standard QWERTY keyboard
