New OWS Server Software Limited Release Now Available

Experience the Newest Analytics with OpenEye's Limited Release.

OpenEye has updated its limited release version of the Apex Server Software to include the latest update to OpenEye's Server-Side Analytics. With these new analytics available natively within OpenEye Web Services (OWS), you can receive alerts or search for person and vehicle events, regardless of your camera's analytic capabilities. Person and Vehicle server-side detection allows you to leverage motion events tied to individuals or vehicles to surveil your business without a costly camera upgrade.

To update your system to Limited Release version, follow the instructions here.

NOTE: Users looking to utilize person and vehicle analytics will need to update to the latest version of the limited release. While the user interface (UI) for person and vehicle analytics will be displayed and function in the earlier version of the apex server software, the backend software required to generate events is not available in version 3.0.1. Users will need to update to the newest version of the limited release (version 3.0.2) to utilize person and vehicle server-side recording.
