Additional Server-side Analytics Now Available in the OWS Server Software General Release

With the latest additions to server-side analytics in OpenEye Web Services (OWS), you can now take advantage of line crossing, loitering, and intrusion events to better protect your business, regardless of your cameras' analytic capabilities.

Available natively in OpenEye Web Services (OWS), server-side analytics provide you with more actionable intelligence, enhancing the value from existing video surveillance systems. Rather than having to rip and replace old or third-party cameras when new technologies outpace them, OWS offers the unique ability to take advantage of powerful video analytics with any camera connected to an OpenEye recorder.

With the latest release of the OWS Server Software, users can now:

  • Receive line crossing, loitering or intrusion events in OWS without upgrading or replacing cameras for those with analytics capabilities.
  • Search for line crossing, loitering, and intrusion events in a centralized platform that spans multiple cameras and recorders.
  • Create alerts based on these events in order to be notified on your phone or in email.
  • Configure up to 3 regions to take advantage of these analytics for more complicated scenes.
